SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND
TRP NOW, Inc. invites proposals from qualified companies to manage and operate all or individual food and beverage concession stands and to provide catering services for special events and VIP suites at our 8,000-seat entertainment facility in Clayton County, Georgia. The selected vendor will ensure a high-quality customer experience and full compliance with relevant Georgia regulations.
Formed in 1996, TRP NOW, Inc. has grown to be a significant source for entertainment and events services in Detroit. In 2025, TRP NOW, Inc. was awarded the contract to manage and operate the 8,000-seat Clayton County Schools Arena. Events produced by TRP NOW, Inc. have served hundreds of thousands of people. Due to the nature of the business and the significant number of people served, it is imperative to acquire a food service vendor that can handle this volume efficiently and professionally.
Scope of Work
- Operate all permanent and portable concession points of sale, serving food, beverage, and specialty items at public events
- Design a family-friendly concession menu, providing pricing structure, portion sizes, and featured brands
- Hire, train, and supervise all necessary service staff
- Maintain all health, safety, and sanitation standards in line with state/local laws
- Support special events with custom catering menus, buffet or plated meal options, and staff for event-specific functions
- Deliver catering for VIP suites, offering upscale and customizable food and beverage options, and assigning dedicated attendants as needed
- Supply and refresh catering for press rooms, backstage, or artist hospitality as requested
- Adjust operations to meet scheduling and unique requirements for public and private facility events.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience managing concessions and event catering at venues with 5,000+ seats
- Demonstrated ability to deliver VIP and specialty catering services
- All required food service, liquor, and business licenses for Georgia
- Fully insured and bonded with evidence of financial stability
Proposal Requirements
Proposals must include:
- Company overview and relevant operational experience
- Proposed concession and catering menus (including sample pricing)
- Staffing plan and qualifications
- Approach to safety, sanitation, and high-end VIP service
- Sample operating procedures, including cash-handling and guest service standards
- References from similar contracts
- Proposed compensation model (lease, revenue share, etc.)
