SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND
TRP NOW, Inc. requests proposals from reputable vendors for the implementation, management, and support of a facility-wide POS system. The system must feature robust inventory tracking, advanced sales, and inventory reporting, and seamless integration with QuickBooks accounting software for streamlined financial management.
Formed in 1996, TRP NOW, Inc. has grown to be a significant source for entertainment and events services in Detroit. In 2025, TRP NOW, Inc. was awarded the contract to manage and operate the 8,000-seat arena in Clayton County, Georgia. Events produced by TRP NOW, Inc. have served hundreds of thousands of people. Given the nature of our operations and the large volume of individuals we serve, it is essential to secure a POS System capable of handling this capacity with efficiency.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Supply, install, and configure a comprehensive POS system covering all concession, retail, and bar locations within the facility
- Ensure multiple user capabilities and support for high-volume, multi-location operations
- Deliver real-time inventory tracking, low-stock alerts, automatic restock reports, and detailed transaction logging
- Provide customizable and granular reporting tools (sales, stock levels, reconciliations, and period summaries)
- Guarantee proven QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online integration for export/import of sales, financial, and inventory data
- Offer staff training, technical support, and ongoing system maintenance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience providing POS solutions to venues for multi-outlet operations
- Demonstrated inventory management and reporting functionality
- Native or certified integration with QuickBooks
- Reliable hardware compatible with required peripherals (barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, etc.)
- Data security, user access control, and system redundancy measures
- Support for cloud-based or on-premises deployment as needed.
PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
Proposals must include:
- Company profile and relevant experience with similar scale venues
- POS system description, including inventory features and QuickBooks compatibility details
- Hardware and software specifications
- Sample inventory and sales reports
- Support, service, and warranty terms
- Cost proposal and pricing model
- Client references
